March is going out like a lamb here in the PNW and brought us our 4th foal for 2022 – another girl born just after midnight. This healthy filly is by Inception out of Fancy Afire (Afire Bey V daughter) – a bay with cute blaze and 4 whites! This is our 4th cross of Fancy to Inception and we love them all! Thanks again to our breeding coordinator, Gino Bellizzi, and to Alberto Esquivel for the early pictures!

It’s a girl! Our third foal, a pretty bay filly, was born just before 6 AM on March 15th. Of special note, she is our first 2nd generation offspring – out of Empress Heir DEH (Afires Heir x SV Starlite+/) and by Inception! After joining the world, she managed to get on her feet and nurse, and then took a long nap! Can’t wait to watch her take shape and grow.
We expect our fourth foal by Inception and out of Fancy Afire at the end of March. It is such a joy to see foals start life!

We’re excited to finally welcome this awesome colt by SF Aftershoc+ and out of SV Starlite+/ after anxiously waiting for over 2 weeks past his due date. He was born at around 12:30 AM on March 6th and is a full sibling to our 2 year old, Galactic Shoc DEH. We just love this cross!
Huge shout out to Gino Bellizzi, our breeding coordinator, who foaled him out!

The 2022 Scottsdale show is now history, and it was great to see friends and so many top quality horses in mostly warm and sunny weather! It was a little bittersweet for Scion Arabians as we bid the fondest farewell to the 5 horses we brought there to show and sell. They are off to great homes with their new owners, and we are so grateful to Alberto Esquivel and Kim McLaughlin-Esquivel for their hard work in helping us show and sell these fine horses. Thanks so very much Alberto and Kim! Onward to show more of our up-and-coming young stock! And our congratulations to everyone who participated in and contributed to such a great show.

First day out for our colt, Cupid (VJ Royal Heir x Showgirl SKF) who was born on Valentine’s Day! We have seven more foals expected and number two (by SF Aftershoc+ and out of SV Starlite+/) is now almost 2 weeks overdue… Stay tuned!
